Solar Power Systems Design: From the Sun into Electricity , 1st ed. Color
This book is designed for students, engineers, professionals and anyone looking for understanding how to design photovoltaic systems from scratch even if you don’t know anything about solar energy or electricity.
Product Description
This book is designed for students, engineers, professionals and anyone looking for understanding how to design photovoltaic systems from scratch even if you don’t know anything about solar energy or electricity. I used very simple ways for demonstration supported with diagrams, pictures, and tables so that everyone can understand.
It contains more than 200 figures, graphs and tables for more explanation. It is very simple and practical guide to understanding and design your own solar power system.
HOW THIS BOOK IS DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS
This book is different from the rest of the books that deal with the design of solar power systems in many things, as the following:
1- It is very simple to understand and not complicated, so anyone can read and understand easily. Read less, understand more. I also used very simple and clear ways and methods to enable the reader to design his/her own solar power system in very simple steps.
2- It has many figures, graphs, tables and diagrams [more than 200 items] that enable the reader to understand and gain maximum knowledge with high quality.
3- It has many solved problems and exercises that improve the understanding and providing the ideas and the material of the book.
4- I separated the book into 4 chapters and made them like steps so the first chapter reader learns the first part of the designing which is talking about the sun and solar energy. Chapter 2 is talking about the fundamental of electricity so reader can understand everything related to electricity that is required to design & build the system. Chapter 3 is talking about the components of the solar power system. In chapter 4, the reader will find complete process of designing an off-grid solar power system where I compound in this chapter the whole ideas that were mentioned in the previous chapters that enable the reader to put the ideas together and get the full picture of designing his/her own system. Chapter 5 is taking about the on-grid solar power system including designing procedure.
5- In this book I am taking some cities from different places as examples to clarify more such as New York city, Amman, Dubai, London…etc. In addition, this book provides tables of solar radiation values for more than 20 cities around the world trying to cover most places.
6- At the end of each chapter there is a conclusion, review and summary of the whole chapter.
7- This book has many references and resources [books, researches, papers, websites, etc..].
8- This book takes in consideration most people’s backgrounds. I used very great techniques and ways to write the book so anyone can understand easily. It has a coherent content.
9- This book covers a combination of theoretical and practical parts, so you can understand and apply easily.
10- The book is linked to a website, established to server all of the book’s readers. The website provides with lots of useful information related to solar power system design as videos, graphs and tables. Readers can also contact us and ask any question related to this book.
